One thing I can say to new diabetics is ,
Keep your sugars low at all times ...
Because one day of high sugar levels is
ONE LESS DAY YOU GET TO LIVE!
Re-worded for Slrnr

One thing I can say to new diabetics is ,
Keep your sugars low (as in )
(under 140mg/dl &over 80mg/dl )
at all times ...
Because one day of high(over 140mg/dl ) sugar levels is
ONE LESS DAY YOU GET TO LIVE!
High or low your body is not getting oxygen ,
I.E. cells in the your extremities .
Diabetic Neuropathy
Neuropathy is a serious consequence of diabetes.
The best way to prevent it is to maintain control
of your blood glucose levels.
Research shows that tight blood glucose control decreases the risk of
diabetic nerve damage by as much as 60%.
Once you have neuropathy, however,
tight glucose control will do little to cure your symptoms.
